Using the Omi Wrist Band
The Omi Wrist Band lets you wear the Omi device on your wrist instead of as a necklace.
Snap your Omi device into the center slot of the wristband and make sure it’s secure and firmly in place.
How to mount the Omi Device
Detach the device from its default necklace mount.
Snap your Omi device into the center slot of the wristband and make sure it’s secure and firmly in place.
Check that the device is firmly attached before wearing it outside.
Best position for audio capture
For best results, keep the device close to your mouth and in the open: high on your chest (necklace) or on the outer side of your wrist.
Avoid covering the microphones with jackets, scarves or bags, and try to keep the device pointing toward the people you’re speaking with.
Using the Omi Wireless Charger
Place the Omi device flat on the charger, aligned with the charging pins.
The LED turns orange while the device is charging; on a first charge, that light can take a few seconds up to 2–3 minutes to appear.
Charger lights and average charge time
When the Omi is on the charger, the device light turns light-red / orange to show it’s charging; on a first charge, this light can take a few seconds up to 2–3 minutes to appear.
