Omi turns your raw audio into Conversations, extracts Memories and Tasks from them, and lets you chat with all of that history.
How Omi stores conversations and memories
Every time you record, Omi creates a Conversation with:
Transcript
Summary
Key points / insights
Action items / tasks (when detected)
From those conversations, Omi saves important facts as Memories (people, places, preferences, commitments, etc.).
Conversations are stored on Omi’s secure cloud infrastructure; you can delete your data (including “delete everything” from app settings).
Search past conversations and events in Omi
Use the search bar to:
Search by keywords and phrases from your conversations.
Look up people, projects or topics across memories.
Some views allow filtering (e.g., by date, tags, starred) so you can narrow down what you’re looking for.
Star, edit and delete conversations, tasks and memories
Edit:
You can edit titles, categories and content to better reflect what matters to you.
Delete:
You can delete individual conversations or memories from their detail view.
There is also a “delete everything” option in settings if you want to wipe your account data.
Star:
Star conversations to mark them as important and filter those moments quickly.
Chatting with your history
In Chat, Omi uses your conversations + memories + tasks as context to answer questions.
You can ask things like:
“What were the main decisions from my last three client meetings?”
“Remind me what I told Omi about my sleep and workouts last month.”
Some chat tools (apps) specialize in querying memories (e.g., Notion CRM-style apps or “chat with your memories” tools), try them!
