If your Omi device isn’t responding, don’t worry — most issues can be resolved with a few quick steps. Below is a simple troubleshooting guide you can follow before contacting support.
1. Device Stuck on Blue or Red Light
If your device stays on a blue or red light and doesn’t respond when pressed:
a. Try Resetting the Device
You can reset your Omi device by:
Press and hold the button
While still holding, place the device on the charger
It may not work on the first attempt, so try a few times until it resets.
b. Let the Device Fully Discharge
If the reset doesn’t help, allow the device to fully discharge.
Once it powers off completely, charge it again — this usually resolves the issue.
2. Device Not Turning On / No Light at All
If there is no light and the device doesn’t turn on:
a. Attempt a Reset
Use the same reset method (press and hold while placing on the charger).
b. Charge for an Extended Period
If the device doesn’t reset, place it on the charger for 6–8 hours.
Check if it becomes slightly warm — this means the charger is working.
If it warms up, continue charging for 12–14 hours and check again.
