App won’t open or keeps crashing

Try these steps:

  1. Update the app

    • Go to the App Store / Google Play and install the latest version of the Omi AI app.

  2. Force close and restart

    • Force close Omi on your phone and reopen it.

  3. Restart your phone

    • A simple reboot often fixes OS-level issues.

  4. Reinstall the app

    • Delete the Omi app, reinstall it, and sign in again.

    • Your conversations are stored securely in Omi’s cloud backend, not only on your phone.

If the app still crashes right after opening, collect screenshots and contact Support.


I can’t see my conversations, memories or tasks

Check:

  1. Correct account

    • Confirm you’re signed in with the same email / login you used before.

  2. Device is connected and recording

    • Make sure your Omi device, Omi DevKit, Omi Glass or third-party wearable is actually connected (blue light or “connected” status in app).

  3. Wait for Conversations to be created

    • Omi waits for silence before turning a recording into a Conversation, then generates transcript, summary and action items.

  4. Check Local Sync / offline recordings

    • If your device recorded while the phone was offline, Omi can sync those later once the phone reconnects (Local Sync).

  5. Filters and search

    • Make sure you’re not filtering out items accidentally.

    • Use search in Conversations, Memories or Tasks to look for a specific keyword.

If nothing appears after test recordings and a stable connection, contact Support.


I’m not getting notifications

  1. Check that Conversations are actually created

    • If there is no new Conversation, there’s nothing to notify about yet.

  2. OS notification settings

    • On your phone, confirm notifications are enabled for the Omi app (banners/alerts, sound, badges).

  3. Background app settings

    • Make sure the OS is not aggressively killing Omi in the background, especially if you’re using third-party devices that stream live audio to the phone.

  4. Log out and log back in

    • Sign out from the Omi app, restart it, sign in again, and test with a short conversation.

If you still never get notifications, take screenshots of your system notification settings and contact Support.
