Glass won’t turn on or charge
Check the basics
Confirm the charging cable and port are properly connected.
Leave Glass on charge for a while before assuming it’s dead.
Try a different power source
Use another USB port or power adapter.
Inspect hardware
Make sure the board, connectors and battery look intact (no obvious damage).
If Glass never shows any sign of life, follow the hardware docs for your specific omiGlass build or contact Support.
Glass doesn’t show up in the app
Bluetooth & app
Turn on Bluetooth and open the Omi AI app.
Pair following the Omi Glass setup guide
Use the pairing flow described in the omiGlass documentation; make sure Glass is in the expected pairing mode.
Restart everything
Restart the phone, the app and Glass, then try pairing again.
If Glass never appears in the Omi app, note your firmware version and steps you tried, then contact Support.
Photos aren’t syncing
Photo / image capture with Glass depends on the firmware and how your particular build integrates with the Omi app. If images don’t appear:
Confirm your Glass build supports image capture with Omi
Check the Omi app
Look under Conversations or any Glass-specific views for captured events.
If you’re unsure whether your Glass build supports photo sync with Omi, check the latest docs or ask in the community.
Glass battery drains too fast
Battery life varies by:
Firmware build
How often you record or stream
Bluetooth usage
Try:
Reducing continuous streaming.
Turning off unnecessary features or sensors if your build allows.
Updating to the latest firmware.
